It took us about an hour and 20 minutes from Athens airport to get here through a windy Road so just be prepared for that travel time It’s definitely situated in a remote area and you can see the temple of Poseidon, which is beautiful. The property itself is gorgeous. Unbelievable landscaping with wild herbs growing everywhere. Accommodations are a bit dated but well-maintained You just need to be prepared that almost all of the rooms unless it’s a standalone villa, your windows open to a pedestrian walkway, and the only way to get privacy is to close the blackout curtains (in some of the rooms ) which eliminates your view Food quality was outstanding in all the restaurants we ate at the beach is beautiful. Snorkeling is great. We walked through the spa, but didn’t use the facilities, but it seemed very charming albeit, dated. This is a very common place for families with small children to come to because they have a children’s daycare area which I suppose makes it nice for the adults to drop off the kids walk to the bottom of the hill and then they can enjoy the afternoon themselves Really like the fact that you could order food from anywhere in the property, no matter where you are seated and they would bring it to you so we had sushi multiple nights sitting on the outside cocktail chairs overlooking the ocean

Cape Sunio Grecotel is a very beautiful, stately and well-run resort. The grounds are gorgeous!! We felt special from the moment we arrived until the moment we sadly had to leave. The staff were plentiful and so helpful. The Welcome was incredible and after a long drive we enjoyed the selection of refreshments. It was my 65th birthday and I felt celebrated with a room upgrade, champagne, and a luscious chocolate mouse cake at dinner! Thank you for making it so specail for me!!! The view of the Poseidon Temple and the beautiful blue ocean was spectacular--and it was everywhere- from our room, from all the common areas and the beach. The beach was a blast with a beach bar, comfy lounge chairs and umbrellas and I enjoyed swimming in the cove there! Kudo's to our server - the drinks were perfect! The Breakfast Buffet was scrumptious, the dinner at The Restaurant excellent, though would have loved a few more traditional Greek offerings. All in all a very special stay and wonderful way to end our journey through Greece-- wish we could have stayed longer!!!

It was a lovely way to round off our holiday in Greece and give us a couple of days of luxury. Everything was very thoughtfully done, from the welcome we received during check in to the time we left, we felt very well looked after by the entire team. The room was stunning; very comfortable and well equipped with a lovely view and a great shower. We were there very early in the season, so it was still fairly quiet (I think), but the way it was set up, it didn't seem like you would ever feel crowded; there was plenty of seating in the restaurants and bars, at the pool and on the beach and it was well spaced, likewise the way the rooms are laid out and the grounds landscaped meant that you didn't really feel like you were in the middle of a big resort, but instead were one of 4 or 5 accommodations. The food was very good, with the buffet meals offering a good variety to cover all tastes and the al a carte restaurant serving up an exceptional dinner with a lovely view out over the temple of Poseidon.

The private pool we had was fabulous as was the main pool, The staff were fabulous - Panos was most welcoming when we arrived. He was lovely and very helpful. A great ambassador for the hotel. The fish restaurant was not open when we were there due to a wedding, but we would have liked to go there. The buffet breakfasts were fabulous, but the veining buffet on Friday 13th did not have any fresh seafood, which we had seen the night before when we decided to book (there were lovely fresh prawns available on the Thursday and mussels as a hot food) so we were a little disappointed.

Beautifully designed and very well maintained property. The views over the sea and the Temple of Poseidon were breathtaking. We loved sitting each night on different areas of the hotel and being able to enjoy the sunset and the amazing views. The staff were ALL exceptional - very friendly, welcoming and gave us a great service. Audrey and Konstantinos in the Grecoland kids club made my son feel safe, welcome and he had so much fun. With the beautiful beach and the huge pool, it really was the perfect place for a family break.
